Description: |
Built in 1911 by Pullman in Lot #3812 to Plan #2492 as private car FEDERAL, 1 of 2 such cars (FEDERAL and NATIONAL) built in that Lot; the FEDERAL was outshopped in February, the NATIONAL in January. In 1933, Pullman sold the FEDERAL to the DL&W as #98 (2nd) POCONO (2nd); the NATIONAL was scrapped in 1953. EL later sold the #98 to Ringling Brothers; the car is now privately owned and based at the Arizona RY Museum. One of the owners is Dave Luca, in the blue T-shirt.
